In this practical and playful two-hour workshop, we’ll use improv exercises to develop skills that are useful in teaching and other contexts. We’ll explore how to listen and respond in the moment, build confidently on other people’s ideas, adjust status and presence intentionally, and create an atmosphere where experimentation and mistakes feel safe.

Expect plenty of participation, laughter and ideas you can bring into your own teaching. No acting or improv experience is needed. Open to non-teachers as well.

About the facilitator

Tim Burgi is an English teacher, improv instructor and founder of Improv Prague. He has taught English since 2009 and has been teaching and performing improv in Prague since 2019.
