Recap: Improv Night at Cože? Bar (Prague) with Blue Moon Improv — 14.1.2026

The Improv Night improv comedy format began at the newly opened Cože? Bar in Letná, Prague 7, on 14 January 2026, introducing a new weekly improv comedy event in Prague. The evening started with a beginner-friendly improv workshop in the back room, where participants met new people and connected through collaborative improvisation exercises, making it accessible for newcomers and solo attendees.

The improv comedy show began at 8:00 pm and featured Tim, Molly, and Thanos of Blue Moon Improv on stage, with musical improviser Richard accompanying the scenes on piano.

The set consisted of short-form improv games, musical scenes, and a one-liner game, all inspired by suggestions from the audience.

Games performed and audience suggestions:

  • The Hat Game — “Boat”, “Taxi”
  • Verbal Restriction — “Rave”
  • Musical Torture — “Snail”
  • Eye Contact — “Police, littering”
  • Silent Movie — “It doesn’t exist!”
  • Sitting, Standing, Kneeling — “Train station”
  • Sound Effects — “Waterfall”
  • Word at a Time — “Tanks”
  • Compilation Album — “I can’t believe they made it!”
  • Scene Three Ways — “Martial arts, ecstasy, country”
  • Emotional Rollercoaster — “Wallet”
  • 99 Blanks — “Bricks, pianos, microphones”
  • Character Creation into Sounds Like a Song — “Abraham Sarah, Tom Silverstein, Asmullah Pasta”

It was an energetic, interactive, and entertaining night. Both performers and audience were having fun.

The audience included regular followers of Blue Moon Improv, local residents from the neighborhood, and people attending an improv show in Prague for the first time.

The venue is a great fit for improv, with friendly staff and a dedicated stage.

Blue Moon Improv returns to Cože? Bar next week as part of its ongoing weekly improv comedy nights in Prague.
